Hi, I’m Marilena

I’m the founder of Spirit Baby Love.

Spirit Baby Love didn’t begin as a business idea. It grew out of my own life.

Before Spirit Baby Love existed, my life was headed in a very different direction. I studied chemistry and was close to finishing my PhD. At the same time, I already knew that afterwards I wanted to do something that gave more space to my social side — I just had no idea what that could be.

When I became pregnant, for the first time in my life I had the feeling: finally, everything is falling into place.

With my miscarriage, that “everything” broke apart from one moment to the next. It felt as though my whole life had shattered.

And at the same time, something else opened.

I began noticing things I had no language for. I had no spiritual background and didn’t even really know what I meant by a soul. I only knew this: my baby had been real. I had seen the heartbeat. And although the body was no longer alive, I had a very clear sense that my baby was not simply gone.

So I did the obvious thing: I googled something along the lines of “How can I communicate with a soul?”

That rather matter-of-fact question became the beginning of a journey I could never have predicted at the time.

It led me into a world that was completely new to me, where I learned, among other things, channeling and evidential mediumship.

For a while, I discovered so much in that new world that moved and fascinated me. And eventually I realised that I didn’t want to simply adopt ready-made ideas about how these things were supposed to be understood or lived.

I had to find my own way.

A way that feels natural and doesn’t make things more mysterious than they are. A way that sees spirituality as something deeply normal and innately human. A way that simply follows what feels right in the moment.

What unfolds

The first idea of Spirit Baby Love was much simpler than what it is today.

At first, I thought I would work as a medium and pass on messages from babies to their parents.

But Spirit Baby Love has grown and matured with me.

Today, it is about much more than delivering a message.

It is about relationship.

About these babies continuing, quite naturally, to be part of their families. About them being present as individual personalities — not only as a memory of something that once was.

And about seeing what unfolds when we stay present with what is already there between a mother and her child.

My Vision

I wish for a world in which it is simply understood that relationships do not end with physical death.

A world in which family members who have died still have their place within the family. Where it is nothing extraordinary to sense them, speak with them, and know them as part of everyday life.

That is why I don’t want Spirit Baby Love to be simply a place where I communicate with a baby on a mother’s behalf.

I want it to be a place where family is lived naturally across dimensions.

Spirit Baby Love is not simply my work.

It has grown out of my life, changed with me, and become an integral part of how I experience the world and move through it.
